I write because…
My words stumble whenever I speak
But find their way whenever I write.
There are pieces of me in here you’ll find– things that I love, random thoughts that I have, and everything in between. Most things I still keep to myself but these are some that I’d like to bare.
I’m a hopeless romantic who loves poetry and I think Doodles and Scribbles could attest to that. Love—the core of my posts, the soul of my poems. There are so many forms of love and it is both easy and hard to comprehend it. There is love in every smile, in every touch, in every tear, and even in wrath. There is love in giving and forgiving, in yelling and ignoring. There is love in madness. There is love in silence. At most times I may tend to be a sentimental dreamer, too imaginative and fanciful, but exasperating as it may be, we write about love because it exist. And like what a fellow Maria from Coelho’s Eleven Minutes once said,
“I need to write about love. I need to think and think and write about love-otherwise, my soul won’t survive.”
And, so, here I am writing about love-and life- to survive.
Thank you for dropping by and happy reading. Carpe Diem! 🙂
