Happy Tire(d)

I’ve been dragged through mud
Treaded over prickly grass
I’ve soiled smooth-covered floors
Spinning round and round and round

I’ve seen good days and bad
Rough edges and perfect curves
When I asked for a cleaner life
I was born for the grime

But I never complained
Though my head spins with air
For when I’m old and jaded
I have you by my side
