Sunrays breaking through
The drips and drops
In the midst of puddles—
A skip and a hop
Confronting life’s quest
With half a smile
I see through your deep breaths
And untold sighs

Beautiful descriptions Maria as always. The sunlight breaking through providing light be clarity, but also relating to the fact she sees the real him “seeing through his deep breaths” Gorgeous 🙂
