Judge Me Not
come clean, wash my dirt off
take away my years of mistake
if you’re faultless, come bathe me
rinse away the stains of my past
otherwise, steer clear—
do not try to label who I am
for you can only cast the stone
if your soul’s unflawed and sound

Yes I will be. I especially love the contemplative nature of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. I so love Lenten hymns. I love all of that. Blessings on the rest of this week, if you celebrate it too. Well, heck, God bless you all of the time 🙂

Same here.. 🙂 Although I won’t be able to go home, I’ll be spending a solitary weekend. A perfect timing for some reflections while listening to Lenten hymns. God bless you, Vanessa. 🙂

So where is home? Are you far from it? If you don’t mind me asking, I know some people like to be somewhat private with that info.
Oh, that is so cool that you feel the same. Blessings on your meditation time. So much great music, so much great art!

Thank you, D. There’s so much judgments going around, we could use a little reflection.

Fabulous, Maria–there’s only One who has the right to judge–and yet He doesn’t, He forgives with grace and mercy. Puts me to shame, for sure. Lovely lines from you, as always ❤
