Becoming Myself
I have long roamed the earth
Searched the streets for a soul
That would look beyond the mask
See the woman behind
The fifty shades of beauty
The cherry tainted lips
The long, curled lashes
And make me realize that
My unbecoming is the becoming
That I’ve been waiting all along

This is as beautiful as it is powerful to give much encouragement to me and all women to find the person we either suppress or deny. Lovely words from a beautiful soul. This speaks to me in some many ways. Thank you.

Aw, happy to hear this speaks to you Gina. It is a note-to-self for me, too. To not find my worth from anyone but from within. It’s a work in progress.. 🙂 ❤

That’s awesome! I support that attention to self. Creating a wholeness to our being. Love that!

There are many layers to this Maria. Is this the person, who mastered “The Art of Hiding” coming into the open? Love the picture that goes with this.
