Filth
Let’s plunge into a hive
Where honeybees nests
Kiss my lips until they bleed
Trace this body with those fingers—
Every convex, every depth
Deconstruct my being
Lift my flair until I am nothing
But a sullied wraith;
A keepsake of a night’s spark.

This does, indeed, make sparks. Well done. I love this, especially: “Lift my flair until I am nothing”
Something about the name of this poem is quite perfect. An attitude, that carries right on through.

Thank you, Yves. I’ve been wanting to join MLMM’s Wordle for a long time but the words are too challenging and tricky to me most of the time. YAY! I’ve finally squeeze something out this time. 😄 Although, I realized, I only used a few words. Haha.

You did a fabulous job. Use the words you can and even if you can’t quite get all 10 still feel free to link up. Even though I make the Wordles I am sometimes left scratching my head haha My Wordles do use more challenging vocabulary than many I have seen. I wanted to share my love of words and my love of learning new words. Some words have such gorgeous meanings it would be criminal to let them fade into obscurity.

Thanks a lot, D! I originally planned to take the darker side but I guess I was stuck at the crossroad between dark and sensual. 😁

This sounds like a one night stand or a guy she knew only a bit. There was a spark but it didn’t last. But I love the end line, it’s gorgeous, “a keepsake” of a night’s “spark.”

Not to much to do this year, but I handed out candy to all 15 kids we had. It was nice out but most go to the malls now. Some very cute little ones though 🙂
