Hear, hear
A Tanaga
Lofty trees cut to timbers
A world rid of verdant green
Forests burn down to cinders
The worst nightmare she has seen
Listen to the Earth’s whimpers
Over greed let kindness win
Breathe the air, hear the twitters
Paint this planet evergreen
Hear, hear.

Yes, of course. I’ve been commenting on the other poets’ posts. But I’m still trying to keep up with all of them though. As for blogspot websites, I’ve been having a hard time commenting through my WP… so I resort to the option which requires me to prove that I am not a robot. *chuckles*
Have a good day, Grace! 🙂

I want to hear the voice of trees drenching the the voices of greed.

I can’t help but think of that “voice” whenever I read or see landslides in the news. *sigh*

It is NOT easy to do a quadrille with rhyme and rhythm! Bravo! Earth’s whimpers…sadly true.

Thank you, Victoria. After so many tries, I finally fit the word count with the rhythm and rhyme. 🙂 It’s a sad truth that we must never give a blind eye at.

Sigh! When will we ever learn? We cut trees and then when something disastrous happens and those trees could have helped, we blame nature. It’s not nature but US destroying earth.

Hear, hear. Don’t you just hate it when the blame goes to nature? Such hypocrisy really. *sigh* We never learn… sadly.
