Coruscant Soul
A Free Verse
Forces of the world
Hammered her soul—
Failures, setbacks, and life’s puzzles
Failures burnt in smoldering heat
Shackled by setbacks, constant defeat
Lost in the void of life’s puzzles
Yet she surfaced like a crystal
Shining after searing fire—
Glaring and bright
A coruscant soul
Forged after chains of
Breakdowns and cries.

In response to Shapeshifting 13 #52 KICKOFF: This week, in exactly 52 words, your challenge is to write a story or poem inspired by and using the following word(s):
“FORCE” & “CORUSCANT”
April has been a hiatus for me and I only managed to finish two colors (Red and Orange) for the series, Ghouls on Rainbows. This month, may the force be with us all so we may dwell in blog-o-sphere in peace and harmony. *fingers crossed* Happy to be back in the shapeshifting world! 😀

I am deciding which line to pick but then I gave up. I cannot choose. This poem’s fullness is a delight to read in whole. Each lines are beautiful. ❤ Raw and real. ❤

I’ve been MIA from Grammar Ghouls myself. Trying to knock NaPoWriMo out of the way first lol. You did superb as always, Maria!

I read the poem twice and it touched my heart. She is indeed a warrior. I bow to her.
