The sky is dark glittered by the shimmering stars. The air is still. I dream of a faraway land where no one can reach me. Perhaps, a field of prickly green grasses where not a soul had been seen for centuries or a desolate ruin long forgotten where I will wallow in solitude. Beneath a hundred thousand stars with my eyes closed, I surrender. I surrender all my woes. I surrender all my fears. I surrender all my inhibitions. I surrender all my doubts. Amidst the embrace of the cold night with only the whistling of the wind, the rustling of the trees, and the silence of my beating heart, I gave in to life’s infinite paradox.
Mind numb from thinking
Fighting battles from within
Stop and heed His will

” Stop and Heed His will” I love that line. In it, you’ve suddenly become carefree 🙂
