My love, would you blame this hopeless heart?
Would you tear my soul apart?
If I cannot stop beaming
If I can’t stop thinking
Of a life-long poem
as I count each
step you take
towards
me
My eyes glistened, couldn’t help but smile
As you walked dressed in coral white
Our gazes danced in delight
To the rhythm of mirth
A true love transpired
My love, this is
the tale of
you and
I

I learned something new today: NONET (Never heard of them before this visit.).
I wrote poetry in middle school and secondary school. I managed to pass an Art class based on my poetry writing because I could not draw anything (even if my life depended on it.). The teacher had live models and still life and I drew happy faces on stick figures!
Still not certain that I grasp the style, but I’ll look into more examples.
Thank you, Dearie!

I made a collection when my wife and I were dating. I’ll post a few and you can decide if I should continue. It’s been a while …
