Written for Inspiration Call: Describe This Scene & MicroPoetry Phrase Challenge
Trying to explain the silence
She stared at the kit
Two red lines of warning
Her hands suddenly shake
Trying to explain the silence
She screamed her heart out
Asked how could it happen
Cursed fate and luck
Trying to explain the silence
Tears rolled down her cheeks
Squeezed her princess tightly
Whispered, I love you still.

Awwww. Love the repetition, dear Maria. My jaw dropped while reading the first stanza and as I continue, I felt the pain and the love of a mother to a daughter. Great, just great!

Oh, thanks Rosema. ❤ I've seen this scene a lot of times in real life. It's saddening to know that the number of teenage pregnancy is at height but heartwarming, still, to see how a mother's love can forgive.
